Error in dwg creating and export from Inventor 2020

Hi,

I am trying to export a part view from Inventor 2020 to Autocad 2020 via a dwg sheet. I did that without issue in the past (different installation, change of computer since)

When I open the file in Autocad I receive the "Drawing file is not valid" error. I am unsure why so but I have suspicion it is because of Inventor when producing the dwg.

Any idea how to solve this (I have tried the unable/enable dwg translator, but changing the status isn't an option for me it seems)

No other file corruption issue. Only with DWG files from inventor. (Will
try from an other project I know worked in the past)

I save directly to disk. I upload to drive because sometimes I am unable to
upload with a post here.

Hi! Are you running any non-Autodesk Add-In? If yes, please disable all Add-Ins and retry. If possible, please record a video showing the corruption workflow from scratch.

Many thanks!

After verification, I used an older part that I converted into a dwg in the past (before changing computer). The dwg created also was corrupted.

Hi! Would you be able to show the corruption workflow? The prior video does not show the file was corrupted afterward. Many thanks!

Hi! I think I see the key step here now. It is "Insert Model Space." If you don't do that, is the dwg file still invalid? This looks like a bug to me. I need to work with the project team to understand it better.

Many thanks!

The file is still corrupt with or without it.

Hi! Two more tests to try. 1) Go to Tools -> App Options -> File -> Configure Default Templates -> select the desirable unit and standard -> Ok. After that, does it work better?

2) If it still does not work, try click on the New button on the top left (do not use any template).

Many thanks!

Hi! This is still a mystery to me. But, I heard an interesting workflow which may be related. I believe you are using non-English Windows and non-English Inventor, right? Try this and see if it makes a difference.

Close Inventor and go to Control Panel -> Clock and Region -> Region -> Administrative -> Change system locale -> uncheck "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support."

Restart Inventor.

Does it work better now?

Many thanks!

Hi I am a none English native speaker (French Canadian) but my computer and inventor are english installed, but I did have the UTF-8 beta checked and now that I removed it and recreated a new dwg, it can be opened with Autocad. That seems to be the source of the problem.
