Yes, but your workplane has to be parallel to that face.

If you can't figure it out you could attach your file here.

Hi,

It looks like you selected "wrap to face".

Deselect it and make sure the emboss is in the right direction.

It should work after that.

Good luck!

It should be Wrap to Face as per requirement.

Hi,

Ok, in that case do what @Anonymous said.

1. Create a plane parallel to the face the emboss has to go to

01.JPG

2. Sketch the name on that plane and emboss with wrap to face.

Good luck!

I did tried that too. I made a tangent Plane with face and then had text on that plane.

Still, there is an issue. Additionally, I am not getting correct orientation of Text. Text is coming as mirrored text.

See attached file.

The problem with the orientation is that you are sketching on the wrong side of the plane.

The problem with the embossing, I think, is because of your workplane is laying within the part. It wasn't tangent to the face.

Here you go

Create a workplane. Workplane > Click the intersection point from that sketch and edge of the part > Click the tapered face

Emboss1.JPG

Next create a sketch on the workplane and type your text.

Last Emboss!!!

I tried by playing the location of plane. 1st I took on the tangent edge, then Outside of part as parallel plane to the tangent edge and then inside the part (Parrallel)

I am done now. I have fixed the text oientation by using Geometry Text.

I have kept the plane tangent to the tapered Face.

Thanks to all for your kind support.

The fix for your text orientation issue is simply to reverse the workplane normal: right click on the workplane and choose Flip Normal.  Now the sketch is on the correct side of the plane so your text reads properly.
