We have this issue tracked with INVGEN-27935, you can query its status with this number.

I uninstalled 2020.1 and 2020.1.1 updates because they have spoiled more for me than they have repaired :]

Do You remember this ? i couldn't export good quality drawing to pdf.

Finally ! i confirm that this issue was NOT fixed on all last updates ! (tried on another PC)

I tried files from son.lengoc (message 5)

Please investigate my file END.TOP.ipt

N18_repad_end_top_1, N19_repad_end_top_1 (i cant use EXTEND FACE to start feature)

Moreover if these two reinforcement pad interfere each other - i have an error.

Funny thing is that (re-pad which i designed before 2018) works as expected ! N16_repad_end_top_1, N17_repad_end_top_1. If these two reinforcement pad interfere each other - there is OK.

I lost a LOT of hours to find the error, than i gave up and  converted the model and I do not use this function (distance from face) any more. Thank You !

Hi Marcin,

I think there is a bit confusion here. INVGEN-27935 is indeed fixed as of 2020.1 update. It was not listed in readme because it was found internally. I am still checking with the project team to understand the issue better.

Can you provide a video to show what you want to do with your data? The defect was fixed in Inventor 2020.1, if with your data still has problem to create the extrusion there maybe something different, we want to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

Attached 2 videos, one with data son.lengoc (message 5) (Distance from face 2019.ipt and Distance from face 2020.ipt), a second one with my END_TOP.IPT.

As You can see, defect was NOT fixed (in both cases there are errors), I have update 2020.1 and 2020.1.1.

I can't understand, how do we users know that something has been corrected, how difficult is it to write it to the update readme file?  this explanation doesn't get to me - somewhere there should be information :]

Once again the question - where can the user check the status of the error? Please link to the page.

Hi! I suspect we have separate issues here. The one shown by OP here is not yet fixed on any 2020 update, including the coming 2020.2. But, it seems to be fixed in the latest internal build for future release.

The issue here is that the cases could be geometry specific. It is difficult to describe the specific issue in words without showing the exact geometry.

Hi Marcin,

I was using the wrong build when I made the comment above. I was wrong. This particular case is indeed resolved as of the latest build targeting 2020.2 update. There will be a testable build available on Inventor Beta site soon. You can try it out.
