Combine intersect bodies in an assembly file

I need to combine intersect some bodies in an assembly file. However, that function is blocked. How can I combine intersect four bodies in an assembly file.

From your assembly environment you cannot use intersection, so you have to first Simplify, Create Simplified Part, or open a Part and Derive the IAM into it, all with the combine style/option to "maintain each solid as a separate body".
Once you get your resulting part, use the Combine function and select the multiple bodies then, with the Boolean INTERSECT output option. It may take more than one operation.

HI!

You can´t join two parts in one in an assembly environment, but...
You can edit one part, copy the other and join both solids: the old one and the copied one.

Hi Robert,

On top of what Carlos and Gabriel already mentioned, you may utilize Copy Object workflow. In an assembly, edit the target part in place, Copy Object (3D Model tab -> Modify -> expand the panel) -> pick another part -> set output = Surface -> check Associative.

After the other part body is linked over, use Stitch command to turn the surface into a solid body. Then you may use Combine command to perform Boolean operation on the two solid bodies.

Many thanks!
