change the sheet metal bend radius

I have seen a lot of these questions asked but no real solutions given.

I am using Inventor 2022

I have created a sheet metal part using the "Face" option

then I added a flange using the "Flange" option.

that flange is created using the default k factor for the desired material lets say R0.50in to keep things easy.

that all works great.

what I am looking for is, once that is created I decide I want a larger bend radius say R1.00in how do I do that?

hind sight 20/20 I would have drawn the profile and simply and used the contour flange method instead but this should still be a simple issue in the year 2022(2023)

I appreciate any help given

You can right click on the flange in the model browser on the left, select edit feature, in bottom right corner change bend radius to whatever you want. You can also change the default bend radius in the sheetmetal defaults.

Default Bend Radius usually is Thickness.

It should be in the rule.

How to change it after you model it depends on how you model it.

Was R0.5 in the rule?

Did you changed it to R0.5 when you model it?

Do you want to change the rule?

Or add another?

Do you need all bend to be R0.5?

You can edit rule or edit the feature to change bend radius.

Rule apply to all using "Bendradius".

Once it's edited to be something else, it will not follow the Rule.

Editing the flange:
