Chamfer with Ball end mill

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to mill a chamfer on the outside of the cube using a ball-end mill?
I can't rotate the cube, which is why I'm using a ball-end mill—the image is just for illustrative purposes. I'm really just wondering if this is possible with Inventor CAM?

Yes, it's possible. Please upload your file only after you've defined your CAM settings and added the remaining operations.

Everything should be included in this STEP file; I've now added the ball-end mill to a projection. The zero point is set in the setup, and there is no prior machining. the blank is already included in the setup.

No. Step files are used to transfer geometry information only. Please attach an ipt file containing all the technological information.

Oh, okay, I didn't know that. Thank you. Here's an .ipt file.
I can't seem to get it to display the raw material at the chamfer, but that's where the chamfer is supposed to be milled.

I'm not sure if this is even possible using the available strategies.

It can be done brute-force method, but it would require a lot of manual labor.

Why can't you rotate an object in a holder? Is this some kind of school assignment?

No, unfortunately not 😅. It was more out of curiosity than necessity. I wanted to machine it this way because I wanted to avoid having to swivel the part to save time (mass production). The problem is that the machine can’t move far enough in the Y-axis to machine the part with a chamfering cutter. That’s why I wanted to machine it this way—it would kill two birds with one stone. I’ve now solved this by rotating the part 45 degrees and then using the strategy you suggested. This worked for me at a minimum of 20 degrees, using a lollipop cutter with a 10 mm diameter and a 6 mm shank. Thank you again for your help.
