Car crash test

I am trying to simulate Car Crash test for Car chassis.

Is it possible to simulate car crash test in Autodesk inventor say for different speed and different kind of collision to study the failure in body parts?

I have attached photograph of chassis that needs to be tested.

No!

Inventor only does FEA linear analysis.

You will have to performs non linear (and transient) analysis.

You have to use powerfull analysis tools to perform that.

I guess you can use Nastran for inventor to achieve better results.
