Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

If you click on anything do you hear a Windows Ding / Beep?

Hi! I suspect you might be running incompatible CAM Add-In with Inventor. Please elaborate what exact Inventor release you are running and what CAM Add-In you have installed?

Many thanks!

So it's working for me ... (just installed 2021 Cam)

Might try doing the Inventor Reset Utility.

If it doesn't work, I would do a clean uninstall / reinstall of BOTH ...

Can you share a screenshot of your Install Programs like this:

I ask because during the installation there is an option to install 2020 and 2021 ... let's make sure it looks like mine

Same as mine ...

I'd try the Reset Utility first .... if that doesn't work I'd more to uninstalling / reinstalling

like a file issue

Was it an Inventor file?

Doesn't look like it was. Looks imported

But glad to know the Utility Reset got it working ...

Hi! It seems that you have another file opened in a separate monitor. Can you click on the Red cross at the top and see what it says? Within one Inventor session, you cannot work on CAM environment for one document, while working on another document separately. You will need to start two separate sessions to do that. Only one document can be active within one Inventor session.

Many thanks!

this is the Step file before and after opening and saving. Any reason why they shouldn't work? can the person who made this put a lock of some sort on?#
