Ask in the INVENTOR forum, and post your actual DWG file instead of a picture. Here is the link https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor/ct-p/70

Hi Johan,

Please try something for me real quick. Open the dwg file in Architecture and use List command to check the entity type. Is it 3D solid body or wire or mesh? It can only be shaded if it is a solid body or a surface body in Inventor.

Many thanks!

I have the same question.

I want to use buildings from AutoCAD Architecture in Inventor factory.

All I can get on the open in inventor tab in architecture are the bounding boxes.

If this is the case the open in inventor command from the factory tab in architecture is really useless

@wnisbett1

Attach example *.dwg file here for testing.
