Sorry if I am one of the ones that was bashing AutoDesk. If you ask my local
AutoDesk reseller, I am one of AutoDesk's biggest advocates. I just don't
understand why I cant put out an AutoDesk filetype after (your right) 8
releases.
DXF and DWG especially are a huge part of AutoDesk's business. Why do we
keep releasing the same thing. Broken DWG and DXF outputs. Since the
inception of this forum we have been screaming about this particular
problem. It just seems like we cant scream any louder.
I have forced my suppliers to purchase AutoCAD, now I am trying to make them
buy Inventor. But they all look at me cross-eyed when they try the dwg
portions of Inventor for output.
I love inventor for 99.90000% of what I do. BUT it needs to be enhanced at
no cost to the VIP or general public to perform in the areas of outputting
DWG and DXF.
Sorry AutoDesk employees for bashing you. That was not my intent. My intent
was to give you something to give to who makes the decisions. I for one
really appreciate the input from AutoDesk employees here on the forum and on
the phone.
Just please please please let me sell Inventor for you, to my suppliers.
When DWG and DXF is fixed, my suppliers have no excuse not to buy inventor
anymore. THAT'S WHERE IM COMING FROM.
