Hi all,
I need help with modelling the wire mesh in attachment. Any ideas/suggestions?
Thank you

Hi @Anonymous,
I whipped this together quickly - I can make a screencast later.
I swept the outer edge as a semi-circle then made a midpoint plane to create the horizontal bars. I extruded a circle (2mm) using the 'To' extents, I just mirrored that bar and then used the rectangle pattern set to adjust to repeat the bars down.
The vertical bars use a similar process except the endpoint is created by projecting the outer round edge of the semi-circle and extruding as a surface. Then created a plane along the straight edge and sketched a circle, extruded using the the 'To Next' extents selecting the extruded surface. Finally, you can rectangle pattern using the adjust compute
@Anonymous , the most obvious question, “What version of Inventor?”
Can you Attach your attempt?
Hi- I need to create a part (Wire mesh for a grain bins) since I have so many different diameters I would like to create 1 and be available to modify it quickly using an excel sheet or so. Can someone help me to describe step by step how you have done this in this forum?
Can you just make an appearance to represent the mesh, then have a sketch symbol to place on the view to show the mesh shape/orientation?
