2021 bolted connection parts inserted individually instead of sub-assembly, and in wrong position

First time I used bolted connection in 2021, it inserts the connection parts individually instead of sub-assembly, and in wrong position.

Please help.

Hi! You can still preserve the old "subassembly" structure by clicking the button on the upper right corner of the Bolted Connect dialog.

The behavior captured in the image looks wrong to me. I tried a simple example on my machine and it seemed to work. Please share the files here. I would like to understand the behavior better.
