Creating a .addin file as per DevTools Sample

So in deciding to make an add-in, I was browsing through some samples. It seems this one is pretty much exactly what I need. (I want to create a simple add in to run a class module every time inventor loads so that I can use macros to track file saves using events.)

D:\Program Files\Autodesk\DevTools\DeveloperTools\Samples\VB.NET\AddIns\VBAAutoMacros

In the steps in the readme, it says to create a .addin file and move some files around. I created a .txt file and renamed it to .addin and followed the rest of the instructions, but it does not load on Inventor startup.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks.

Attached is the read-me with the instructions I followed.

Never mind. Got it figured. Think it was just a restart to fix it since I had just installed Visual Express 2012 on the same boot.

These built in add-ins seem pretty awesome!

Had noticed one for revision clouds too, which seems pretty awesome.

@MechMachineMan This is not working for me. I've followed the readme step by step and restarted by PC. Do I need to be on IV2017 or greater?

I'm using IV2015 but the readme file that comes with my SDK looks the same as yours.
