Genuine Service - How to uninstall it? (I moved to a different machine)

HOW TO UNINSTALL The ADSK Genuine Service ?

• I moved 3dsMax to a new computer.
• 3dsMax is no longer installed on that previously used computer.

• I want to remove the Genuine Service from the previously used system.

To whoever or whomever saves the say here.. I PRE-THANK YOU
IMO:  The "ADSK Genuine Service" should be smart enough to allow uninstall of itself when there's no longer any ADSK programs on the system.

There is absolutely no autodesk application on my computer and hasn't been since 2020. Autodesk Genuine Service is still there and doesn't seem to go anywhere even if I try to uninstall it. Where else could be the problem? Please, advise.

I used Revo Uninstaller, which allows for removing all registry entries, dlls, etc. It's a bit more complicated, but it removed any trace of Autodesk from my machine. Hopefully this helps anyone having any more issues with uninstalling.

"automatically uninstalls itself"? How can I be sure it's gone? This is terrible software design! I would have installed it on a VM had I known before that I would be getting a permanent bit of spyware with my student copy... Oh well, I needed to re roll windows anyway...

A 2022 new-year gift to all Maya users:

To uninstall Autodesk Genuine Service immediately and completely, follow these steps:

1) Reboot to safe mode. In safe mode, delete directory "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm" and "C:\Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Genuine Autodesk Service". <your_user_name> can be checked in Windows start menu.

2) Reboot in normal mode. Then we can uninstall Autodesk Genuine Service in normal way. If you keep the File Explorer window open, you can see that the second directory is restored again. That's Autodesk Genuine Service struggling before death. Just delete it again.

Now Autodesk Genuine Service is uninstalled. Happy New Year!
