Good afternoon, when I try to activate AutoCAD 2025, I click enter serial number, enter it, and then I get an error: "This content cannot be displayed in a frame". How can this be solved?

For reference. The problem is on both of my devices. The first one is running Windows 11 23H2 the second one is running Windows 10 22H2 with the latest updates.

@jenrix.kot

Are you sure you still have a serial number?

I ask,as Autodesk have moved away from Serial numbers (that you enter) and gone to named users. I haven't seen any 2025 still with a serial number.

What happens if you try and SIGN IN and activate it using your Autodesk ID?

Can you try reinstalling Google Chrome .. and and Edge:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge?ep=379&es=79&dlb=M022&form=MM1476&ef_id=_k_Cj0KCQjwztOwBhD7ARIs...

Please then reboot and make sure all of the Windows updates and app's updates are installed.

Make sure you don't have a firewall on and try starting the software.

I have been struggling with this error for 4 days. I have reinstalled Windows, updated every possible browser. None of this helps. In addition, there is a similar problem on macOS, there just appears a white screen. As I wrote above this problem is due to a change on Autodesk servers and it is necessary that Autodesk engineers check the latest changes.

How was this downloaded?

Also, you mention Mac and Windows .. are you on the same Wifi/Internet provider for both these machines?

Can you try this installer:

P1:

https://efulfillment.autodesk.com/NetSWDLD/ODIS/prd/2025/ACD/99E57530-7CC1-31F4-89E9-24175C7690C2/SF...

Clean out your %temp% folder ... delete your prior installers and try this one.

I tried a fresh install using the 2 links you provided and got the same error. Every time I go to activate any license using a serial number, once it opens the pop-up window and I punch in the S/N, it redirects and shows the frame error.

Like the OP for this thread, it really seems like it's some to do with how this app is handling the S/N activation. This error is prompting on the same window that I enter the S/N from within the app, it's not in my browser or a separate app.

The Autodesk logo in the screenshot is an old one. Could it be a problem with the license service? Try installing the latest one: Autodesk Licensing Service download

I downloaded Windows AdskLicensing-installer.exe from that link and did the install. it seemed like a silent install, no prompts or anything. Rebooted and tried to activate the license again, still the same thing.
