New notifications keep you license compliant with multi-device login alerts

Starting April 24, users will receive a notification when they attempt to access Autodesk Inventor on more than one device simultaneously, prompting them to pause the session on one device or sign in as a different user.

This notification ensures product access is limited to intended users, and helps your organization remain license compliant per the Autodesk Terms of Use.

This capability will be enabled for most other Autodesk products later in 2024.

Please reach out to your existing users to ensure they are aware of the change.

Just wondering why this feature is not yet available for Revit and how can we prevent users from accidentally accessing Revit from more than one device to remain license compliant?

Hi, @a_meteni! These alerts are now available for Revit. See our latest post here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/remain-license-compliant-with-new-autocad-and-...

Is this what you're seeing:

What I usually share:

So the issue is to many of your seats are using all of the same licenses at the same time. So it stops the use when it's all at the same time.

About the error message:

You need to assign them a different license for each.

I would have IT or the Autodesk Contract Manager verify that each of these users has their own license assigned to them and that they sign in using their unique Autodesk ID to activate and use Inventor
