AutoCad LT 2007 - English installation is aborted.

I am trying to install AutoCad 2007 Lt from the original disk serial number XXX-XXXXXXXX which I own.   I am not downloading from Autodesk.  I purchased every version, from LT windows 95 to the LT 2007.  I need some expert solution to my problem.  I have found AutoCad Lt always a product of absolute genius.  But this installation & activation process reflects poorly on the brilliance of the product.  From 1970 to 1995, I worked the boards, therefore I truely appricate LT.

I tried install as administrator, compadibility mode xp sp2, xp3, and windows 7.  I removed existing copies of Flash.  I read the internet for an answer and tried the many different suggestions.  But I reciece the;

  Autodesk Setup ends with: AutoCad LT 2007 - English installation is aborted; every time.  As I stated in the previous post, I have installed with no problems LT 2007 on my laptop running Windows 2007 64 bit, the same operating system I am trying to install now.  I must assume that compatibality is not an issue.  I am nearly ready to install from floppy disk autocade lt 95 on an old laptop running windows 95.

  Autodesk Setup ends with:

AutoCad LT 2007 - English installation is aborted.

Please check C:\Users\........\AutoCAD LT 2007 Setup.log for details.

Hello @Anonymous

Your initial comment about your issue suggested you were trying to install AutoCAD LT 2007 on a Windows 8, 8.1, or 10 system. (compatibility mode for Windows 7 would suggest this) That's unlikely going to happen.  I would suggest installing this on a system with Windows XP.

I have AutoCad Lt 2007 installed on my laptop running tip top on Windows 7 Professional, as stated before.  So, is there a difference in compadability for Lt 2007 laptop verses desktop.   I already have Virtual PC XP mode on my desktop and having trouble activating AutoCad Lt 2006 on it.  Autodesk informed me via internet that serial number was invalid, therefore I am in the process of getting activation code via United States Post Office as directed by Autodesk.

I am installing Lt 2006 and Lt 2007 from original hard disk which I own and regestered at the time of initial installation.  It is frustrating having paid for the seat and not being able to ride.

I perfer if at all possible install Lt 2007 directly in Windows 2007.  It seams that the installation fails due to Macromedia Flash failure.  Can this issue be addressed?

You can update your Flash, or hit ignore a dozen times if presented with that error.  Otherwise, 2007 is not supported on Windows 7.  The underlaying code and activation is not compatible.  You need to run 2010 or later.  Beyond that, anything before 2013 is officially retired anyway.
