Maya 2017 download installs

Currently there is no Windows browser download option that I can find.  There is for OSX and Linux however. Deploying the direct install across a facility is not ideal. Will there be the same option for Windows users soon?  Will the team at upandready be providing download links like they have for 2016 and prior versions?  Crossing fingers.  Direct install is really problematic for many customers.

Thanks!

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

Maya 2017 isn't on the Virtual Agent yet, it seems.  But it should be shortly.  In the meantime, you can also try the trial download:

God Luck!

Maya 2017 was just released a couple of days ago so @TravisNave is correct its not on the Autodesk Virtual Agent...

You can do the following:

7-28-2016 9-59-17 PM.jpgBut I sent this same image to another Maya 2017 user and they indicated no language option like that was available to them.  But worth a shot.

Thanks, I looked there first, prior to posting. They don't have 2017 up yet.

Hi, I should of been more clear in my subject line, that only works for Maya 2017 licenses that aren't part of a suite.  If you have a Maya based suite or the Ultimate suite, that download doesn't work with the product key.  It seems like it used to, but I've had numerous calls from clients and facilities trying to get 2017 downloaded and running.

The Maya 2017 download link in the suites, do not have any other option except for the 'install now' option, at least for Windows.

Our team have been fielding calls for two days from customers trying to get Maya 2017 downloaded.  Its crazy.

If you use the straight Maya download (not through the suite section) and install it you said the product key doesn't work.   When does it not work?  What happens?

What folders do you see here after you installed Maya 2017 as I describe: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS

Hi Mark,

Yes the path is there.  As far as the product key, it just gives an error on the splash screen stating it's not correct.

Try 657I1.  Type it in and do not copy/paste.

Hi, just an update.  The issue was resolved, but involved getting Autodesk to make changes on their back-end.

Thanks for everyone's input.
