Hi,

i´ve a Problem to install Design Review 2018 on my Dell XPS 15 Notebook with Windows 10 Operation System, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD Disk.

Errorcode 1935: During Installation .... assamblies components ... (please see attatchments)

i tryed installation direct form internet

i tryed Installation from a local disk

i tryed Installation with Administrator selection

 

Any idea why Installation run on error?

The errors are:

Rollback DirectX Runtime Failed Failure is ignored, Result=1619
Rollback Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619
Rollback Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619

First, update your Win10, then update your video card drivers.
Second, empty your Windows Log-in Temp folder. leave it open and visible.
Third, Go into Win10's Settings, Apps section, select and uninstall versions of Visual C++ 2010 and 2012
and finally, try installing your software one more time.

hi pendean,

sorry but your Workaround Ends in same Errorcode! Windows, Video Card, BIOS of XPS Notebook are up to date. All Temp Directories were cleared (C:\Windows\Temp\ and ...\AppData\Local\Temp), C++ Software has been uninstalled and endpoint Protection was disabled!

do you have another solution for my Problem?

Solution for my Problem:

I had to set the notebook to factory default! After Windows 10 Prof was installed DesignReview2018 could installed without any Troubles!

Works for me !no setup! msi file (ADR xxx.EXE package rename to xxx.ZIP and extract to new folder)
