Download Old Version of Inventor

I work for a company that does not want to invest in CAD products unfortunately. I recently found an old disk jacket of Inventor 11. I have the S/N and P/N, but the disk inside does not match.

I was wondering if there is a place where I can download an old version of Inventor so we I can use it. I know it is pretty old, but if we can use it, maybe eventuall I will be able to convince them to let us upgrade to a more modern version.

Well, it wouldn't be compatible on anyting other than Windows XP, which is retired itself.  Inventor 11 has been retired forever.  Even if you did have a disc, you probably wouldn't be able to activate it.  I was thinking Autodesk had a trade-in promo.  The best you can do is call you local Reseller and see what they can do for you.

Yes I would go with what TravisNave is saying and contact your reseller if you have one.  However I think the opportunity in trading legacy versions in for a newer version has already expired.  But don't quote me on that...

At this point you (well you have to now) could go with a desktop subscription (rental) and pay as you go.   ANother option is to go with Fusion 360 which is  Autodesk next generation CAD/CAM platform.  It is cloud based and runs 300 dollars a year.

Whereas an Inventor desktop subscription is about $1890 a year.  Fusion 360 does have the Inventor environment, CNC capabilities and a few other items, but keep in mind it is separate from INventor.  Totally a different approach, different file types, and the drawing side is lacking, but its an option if your company has a limited budget.  IF you are interested in trying out Fusion 360 you can do so here.

Edit: @Anonymous if you don't have a reseller and you are located in the US, please try to private message me.  But I'm thinking that will not be possible because you are a new member and that option is disabled  until you reach a certain # of postings...   But try anyways...
