Autodesk Pixlr Stops working after one use

Please excuse me, I didn't know exactly where to post this sort of issue.

I have this annoying issue where I can only use Pixlr once per installation and it's never happened to me before.

I have the old version of Pixlr 1.0.2.0 or something on Windows 10.

I have this version for a good reason. It's got all the good effects and borders, Etc that I always use. The newer Pixlr that's out now, is the one I don't like, judging from what I saw and didn't see...I rely on the old version.

So, like I said, if I want to keep using this version, I have to keep uninstalling it and install it again each time I close the program until I'm ready to use it again the next time.

@derek.mallard

Autodesk sold this product to 123RF in 2017.  It wouldn't be supported here and I would assume this old version you have wouldn't be supported under Windows 10.

Unfortunately as @Mark.Lancaster said Pixlr isnt Autodesk's any more which also means it isn't Autodesks problem since they have stopped support, the only other thing I can say is try pixlr online as it's free. https://pixlr.com/

Thanks for the reply.

What I don't understand is that Pixlr has been working fine ever since 2018 for me and I was still on Windows 10...

this isn’t an Autodesk problem so you will need to make contact with pixlr support

Did you install an update as that would have likely broken something...

I'm talking windows or a gpu/ hardware software as they can cause the OS to update/sync up which can cause issues...

Yeah that may be it. I was forced to update in Windows 10.

I have been having the exact same problem these last 2 weeks and it's driving me bonkers. I've been using Pixlr Autodesk since 2016 with Window 10 and no problems. Hunky dory. Loved it. I used it a lot. And now I'm having the same issues - not opening. I uninstalled it and then installed it. It worked for one go. Then I couldn't open it again. Uninstalled. Installed. Won't work. Frustrating. I do love the filters and borders etc. Hmmm.

Have you ever considered rolling back an update?

What's the use? You said it yourself that Windows 10 updates may have caused the program to stop working properly and I strongly agreed with that.

If it was the act of updating that caused pixlr to break then rolling back wouldn't help, but my other idea was to roll back to see if that patch in particular broke pixlr rather than just the act.

I'm having the same exact problem! Is it possible to actually buy the Autodesk Pixlr Express? I'll pay you to send me a working version of the program. Like i need the Autodesk Pixlr seriously. Please just tell me the price and send me a working fresh final-version of the program.

All we do on the forum is help others with info, we are not a buying service...
