Autodesk ID and Network license on same workstation

I have a workstation that is in a conference room that several people share.  Most of the users have an Autodesk ID and are subscribed to an Autodesk product so when they start Inventor, they just their Autodesk ID to log-in and that is no problem.  The problem starts when a user without a Autodesk ID wants to use the workstation and use our network license.  When Inventor starts, it asks for an Autodesk ID. Since they do not have one, there is no way to continue.

Is there a way to handle this situation so that both types of users can use the workstation?

the software would have to automatically switch the license type every time you close the software

don’t believe there is way to do this without manually doing the license reset your self

Yeah, you'd have to reset the licensing each time so that you'd get the option to sign-in with single user or use the network license.  I have a script to reset licensing in my signature.  You can probably modify to make it automatic instead of requiring inputs.

Why not leave the machine as a shared machine that only uses network licenses?  That way regardless of who uses the CAD on that machine, it'll look for a network license instead of switching back and forth.  That is common for these types of scenarios.

That would be ideal, but we have a limited number of network licenses and it stays pretty full most of the time.

@karthur1 Sadly there is no workaround to you not purchasing additional licenses. Sorry.
