Good evening,

I am trying to activate my autodesk account, however I got a blank (not loading) screen.

Is there any easy way to fix it please?

It has been about 3 hours I am trying to activate my software (3DSmax) without success and it is a bit discouraging.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have just tried to register autocad 2014 which I downloaded, but the autodesk registration box comes up blank, nothing at all and the whole process freezes.  I have checked for the L file and it isnt there.

Very disappointed as had no difficulty with the older version, please help

It takes a paid phone support contract with your local VAR. This is a peer

Thanks for that registry edit tip. I too just found this problem with a new install of Inventor 2017.

After following all the steps under the below article, the problem still occurred;

 - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-...

With the problem still occurring, a little more searching finally found this thread. I followed the regedit step, found the "L" zone regkey, backed it up & deleted it. Restarted the system, started Inventor, and now the licensing is working as expected and is no longer blank.

So to re-affirm, deleting the regkey (it's not an L, but a strange looking font) fixes a blank licensing screen;

Locate, backup & delete; HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\L
