64bit licensing error -15.570.0

I am trying to install a license server on a Server 2012R2 that is running as a Domain Controller.  The LMUTILS show server up and running, and based on the threads here, I have disabled IPv6 and (at least temporarily) the Firewall on the domain network.  A PC conneced to domain cannot get the license and gets an error of -15.570.0.

What are my options?

As history..I had originally tried minitab on this server too, same issue, so I moved it to a File Server, where it works fine.  I tried putting AutoCad on the same server, where it worked, but promtply killed MiniTab (I regenrated license files for the different ethernet addresses).  I tried combining license files with no success and since we have more minitab users than AutoCad, left it running with Minitab,  now back to DC as alternate server and I am wondering if there are other services that need to be installed on DC for it to work as a license server?

Autodesk 3D Plant Suite 2014 is the product.  I have added the system variable for the new server, which pings correctly from the client and returns a IPv4 address now.

Thanks

Hello sanjay.chadha and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you are seeing "Error 15" when registering and activating software or using the Portable License Utility. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

-15 is usually a firewall issue on ports 27000-27009 and/or 2080.  But it can also happen if you are running more than one license manager at the same time.  Since you are running Minitab, I would recommend that you combine these together on the 11.12 version of lmgrd so that the port selection does not kill the other process.

For the best method to properly combine your license managers, please read my entire thread here and choose the method that best fits your needs:

Good Luck!

Actually, the whole reason I put this on a DC was so that it would not be on the same server as Minitab, so it was just by itself.

I never resolved what the issue was with DC, but I went back and revisited my installation on the File Server.  Turned out that Minitab was a 32 bit installation and AutiCad was 64 bit, which is why the adsk demeon would not run.  I got the 32 bit version and now it works.  Although, now I find that if I installed Auticad with an admin ID on a machine, it works for that ID, but if another user logs in, it does not work, so I suspect some entries are needed in the current user part of registry that must be missing.  On another machine, I took a different tactic, where I used a user login, and then elevated privileges, and that one seems to work.  Is there a procedure for doing the user specific installation for a machine that has AutoCad installed?

By the way, thanks for all the high quality posts you have on the forum.  They are outstanding.
