Make orbit manipulation as easy as possible !

Make orbit manipulation as easy as possible !

At least in Fusion 360, please give the

- option to " INVERT pan & orbit shortcut ". In this mode, one center click will make the pivot point and long center click brings the so nice orbit tool with nooo! keyboard !!!

How could you apreciate better your work, or show it to others than with such simple ergonomic mouse gestures !?

- option to " use left click button to orbit " like most 3D vsoftware and viewers.

If then you really need the Pan tool, which is globaly far less important (- in fact i even never use it, but that's more personal probably -) , then you will tap the shift key with center or left click and there it will be.

I really hope you will give a PUSH to this little but so basically important enhancement.

Please be kind and give us this. Heart

PS : This is probably valuable for all Autodesk software isnt'it ?

We are in the process of evaluating how we will provide options for navigation controls including settings for common applications.

The lack of a mouse actuated orbit is currently a huge turnoff for me with Fusion.  I have tried multiple times to get into the workflow and everytime I come to a point where the keyboard+mouse gets too annoying.  I model/ponder/remodel/ponder/rinse/repeat and need to look at all areas of the part/assembly/toolpath quickly and efficiently.

I would like to see a Left + Right mouse button combination for the Orbit shortcut. Using two hands or moving up to the Cube is a pain. Cubify Design uses that as I assume other 3D Systems software (A360 uses it also) and it's very handy. The current Fusion 360 defaults for Zoom and Pan are nice, although it Zooms every time you do a Pan which is a problem.

Since your request we have made multiple changes to options users have for orbit.  We have made improvements to how our orbit selects a center to rotate around and allow you to select different ways that orbit works based off of other software expectations.
