allow more than one surface for splitting a body

Looks like boolean operations allow to cut one objects with many objects but split solid only allows me to select many target objects but only one tool object.

Hi Claas,

We plan to enhance the Split Body command to provide the ability to discard bodies on one side of the split tool, per a related request from you and others.  Choosing which bodies to keep and which to discard is simpler and much more robust if we have only a single splitting tool (we'll keep all bodies on one side of the tool and discard all bodies on the other side).  If we introduce multiple splitting tools, selecting bodies to keep/discard becomes a bit more complicated (you'd have to select individual bodies, as opposed to just pressing a "Flip" button), and the results will be less predictable if the bodies/tool change as the result of an upstream edit.  This is likely not something that we'll implement.

Thanks,

Charles
