Hello,
The reason for this error is that the post processor script (the CPS file) you are using does require a higher version of the post engine (installed with the CAM product) which is currently installed on your system.
In your case the error message says:
Error: The post configuration (.cps) requires revision 45909 or later of the post processor engine which has revision 45843.
This means that you are using a post SCRIPT file which requires post ENGINE version 45909, but the post ENGINE version of your installed CAM product is only 45843.
You can now either use an older version of the post SCRIPT file which can be downloaded on the post library or you can update your CAM package to the latest version.
If you want/need to download an older version of the post script file, please visit https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts? and download the desired post script version as described in the picture below:

If you want to find out the postprocessor version which is currently installed on your system you have these options:
- Post process any toolpath with the “Dumper” post processor (dump.cps). It will show the installed post engine version at the top of the output file.

- For newer versions of the desktop products Inventor CAM and HSMWorks, navigate to “Help/Tutorials --> About” and it will show the post processor version.

- Look at the error message you got from post processing, for example:
Error: The post configuration (.cps) requires revision 45909 or later of the post processor engine which has revision 45843.
Note, the post SCRIPT file version numbers do not correlate with the post ENGINE version number.
If you want to find out which post script file version requires what post engine version, you can:
- Take a look at the post library website
- Inside of the post script file (the cps file) you will find a parameter called “minimumRevision” which tells you the required post engine version.

Note that we do not distribute a separate installation of the post processor engine, the post engine is always part of the CAM package installation.
