I am trying to get the helix pattern to repeat along the length of the curved shape, however I am unable to get the pattern to neatly repeat. I have tried turning the the shape geometry into sheet metal and unbending in an attempt to project the design onto the surface before re-bending but Fusion does not recognize any bends due to it being a spline. I have also tried utilizing pattern on path and surface sweep hoping to find an alternate method. Is there even a way to do this in Fusion and if so, how? In addition the final product will be 2d and the helix pattern is made from sine waves also, geometry does come from MasterCAM if that happens to impact anything.
You did not mention which side you wanted to bend follow the curve, the RED arrow or GREEN arrow side. The Red could probably be done but the Green I am not to sure.

Sorry for neglecting to mention however it would be the green side that would be bent so it seems I'm out of luck there. Thank you for the info.
Yes, bending on the hard side is probably not possible. If you ever want to bend a solid take a look at this Blog Article and Video.
