OSX- Fusion 360 - Requires password every-time it is opened

O/S: Mac OSX 12.4

 

Every time that I start the Fusion 360 application I am promoted to log in.

 

I have tried:

  • Reinstall
  • Delete LoginState.xml
  • run Fusion 360 Service Utility with repair and reset

 

 

Immediately after logging in this is the state of LoginState.xml which isn't what I would expect:

<Settings LogoutDate="" SuppressLoginReminder="False" CurrentServer="ProductionServer" LastLoginReminderDate=""/>
</WebServices>

 

Two things that are possibly note worthy are:

  1. I have multiple users on this mac - the user that I am using is a admin user
  2. That I had lots of duplicate licences - I thought this was the cause of the issue and I asked support to remove the superfluous licences - which they did but this didn't seem to have any effect.

I would very much appreciate any suggestions on how to stop the requirement of needing to log in every time I start the application.

Thank you for your reply @sunil.patilQCZZK - the guide you have linked to is for Windows. Even though it is for the wrong operating system I've attempted to follow it:
  1. I'm using fusion 360 daily with the computer connected to the Internet via wifi but connected to an always on connection
  2. I'm using a single auto desktop user
  3. I'm not changing my network adapter, it is the internal WiFi adapter
  4. I'm not docking the laptop
  5. I'm changing the domain I'm connected to, I'm not changing wifi networks
  6. I'm connected to the Internet all the time
  7. I'm not using antivirus software
  8. I'm not aware of any 3rd party software that would alter the auto desk library area 
  9. I'm not using a vmware
  10. I'm not using a vm
  11. I'm sharing an email id
  12. I'm not using a pirated version of fusion 360 
 
Check if LoginState.xml can be overwritten:
This is interesting as I have seen LoginState.xml get filled up with lots of xml and when that does happen fusion 360 doesn't require a login post closing the application. However it more often than not (9 out of 10) does not write a long LoginState.xml - So clearly Fusion 360 can write to LoginState.xml however it is writing to it inconsistently
 
Reset licensing information:
 
Check for Antivirus interference
As above I'm using a mac - it is common not to run anti-virus software on a mac

I think that I've tracked the issue down. I believe it is caused by Pi-hole.

These are the things that I've added to the pi-hole accept list:

  • tags.tiqcdn.com
  • js-agent.newrelic.com
  • mobile.launchdarkly.com
