I am new to Fusion 360, utilising my free " Hobbyist " opportunity, can create basic files, but cannot create Toolpaths in my CAM option. ???
How far into the process can you make it? Workflow:
1) Create Setup, define the part orientation with "Select Z and X axis", select the model you are going to be machining.
2) Select desired toolpath, select tool from library, set speeds, feeds and coolant.
3) Select contours to machine
4) Define any required parameters such as compensation type, stepover (if applicable) and lead-in settings
5) Simulate
6) Post process, selecting the correct post processor.
If you're still having issues, please share the file here so we may investigate.
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply
So, we're at the point now where we really need to see a Fusion file to see what's going wrong. Please export and share a sample file.
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply
If you are trying to attach a file via email, it doesn't work like that. You will need to go to the forums and attach it there.
Ok , i seem to be in. and will try this. Another issue that may help, is that i am going to set up another Computer from the workshop that might allow me to run Fusion 360 on XP, rather than this computer which is specifically Windows 7 , so that we can run older Machining Code for our Laser Printer. Anyway, here goes.
