Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear that Fusion 360 has been running slowly for you.
Before investing in any new hardware, it may be worth checking if limiting your effects for performance helps Fusion run a bit smoother! Also, please ensure that you are working with the most recent graphics drivers for your card - out of date drivers can often cause performance issues.
Any card that meets the minimum graphics requirements at this link should work to run Fusion - so you will have a lot of options! I use AMD Radeon R9 cards (which play nice with DirectX) in my Windows machine and the integrated Intel cards in my Mac and have not had any graphics related problems. I would also recommend having a look through the forum threads linked below for other perspectives:
Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi @Anonymous
I would always recommend checking to see if a driver update helps with graphics issues, but would certainly never discourage you from upgrading! What graphics card are you currently using? You can easily find out by running a graphics diagnostic in Fusion - I am happy to have a look at your specs and give any recommendations I can.

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for posting! The integrated Intel cards sometimes require an update to the operating system to update the drivers - this may be worth looking into if you are on the fence about purchasing a new card. With that said, I have seen performance issues consistently occur with the integrated Intel cards, so an upgrade may be helpful if you have the means!
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for the response! Feel free to send over your graphics diagnostic. With regards to graphics, the things you will want to check are;
Hopefully this helps! I am happy to have a look at the graphics diagnostics. Also, if you could provide a brief description of the performance issues you are experiencing (a screencast always works well for this) and a copy of your diagnostic log files (you can gather them as shown below), I am happy to have a look and provide any perspective I can.

@Anonymous You've not given any examples of what's slow. Can you attach some screen grabs or better still can you share some designs that are slow, export as an f3d and attach.
Thanks Mark

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for sending over the graphics diagnostic - that should all be working well! It looks like you are also using the latest available drivers too.
To improve performance when working with inserted DXFs or SVGs, I would start by having a look through this article, which may contain some helpful tips. Also, if you'd like to illustrate the problems you are seeing with a screencast I am happy to have a look! Please let me know if you have any questions.
