Derive & Insert Derive Buttons Dimmed in Fusion360

I am unable to use the Derive or Insert Derive features in Fusion360 as they are dimmed for some reason. My Fusion360 says it is in offline mode, so maybe that is the reason? I am unable to use these features as of now.
