Showing/hiding all sketches/bodies

My models grow large with tens of bodies and tens upon tens upon tens of sketches.

You can see how these would clutter each other if I didn't keep most of them hidden as I work.

Trouble is, I inevitably need to find a specific body or sketch, and this is impossible by looking at the name alone. I have to see the sketch or body to know it's it.

Is there not a way to show and hide all other sketches in one click? I think every other CAD tool has this?

OK, I can batch-select all the sketches and do show/hide from the context menu. It would be nice to just select the sketch I need and hide all others in a single click, though 😄

Highlight the unwanted in the Browser, press v

Sketches organised into their component, makes it easy to find the correct one, and there are selection sets, of anything for any reason.

Might help....

there is the "object visibility" menu in Display Settings - you can turn off ALL sketches in the model this way.  Turning this back on will restore whatever visibility they had before, so if you have, say, 20 sketches that you might need to see out of 100, make those visible, then use Object Visibility to turn off everything.  When you turn it back on, only those 20 will be seen.  Doesn't work for Bodies, though.

hello

Would it be possible to make this option to a keyboard shortcut?

thanks

This is a pretty awful and very tedious way to show/hide all sketches. Aside from taking 3 clicks to get there, this also basically disables sketches so that if you click edit sketch on the timeline or edit profile sketch, you can enter edit mode but you can't see it. Not very useful.

I've come up with a handy workaround - not sure if anyone else had posted it - but it is to create selection sets of all sketches in all components, then restore that selection and use shortcut V to show or hide. I do the same for construction elements. It's waaaaay faster than using the display options at the bottom and the element will still be visible if you edit it.

My ideal would be have this as a built in shortcut. A hotkey to how/hide all sketches and one to show/hide all construction elements.

I often end up with very complex models which several sketches and construction planes all over the place that obscure the final design. As I work with furniture designs I really need to keep looking at the 'clean' model to see how my proportions etc. are looking.

Hopefully this gets implemented.

I'm often importing autocad 3D models and i'm still trying to fix the issue. It seem that in the imported component ( very often cascading ones) the sketches are randomly visible or not. And believe me it is a nigthmare to hide them one by one
