We've found an interesting bug with Fusion 360. If you open a file with top-level joints (may work with joints in non-linked components, but I didn't have time to test), and rename a joint (click twice in the browser), you then cannot save the file as Fusion 360 doesn't detect the change.
The only workaround was to make some other trivial edit to the file and then save.
