Students opening Fusion Web Browser Help

I have three classes of students using Fusion 360, roughly 30 in total. Some of my students have been able to open the Fusion web browser but most of them have issues loading the program. Some are getting kicked off with a Time Out error, some will get the browser to load to 100% but it will never open. Students with Macs, I have them try opening the web browser with Chrome and Safari. The time out issues seem to happen throughout the class. All of my students have educational access to Fusion, only a few have an assigned copy from me. I have gone to the IT department for the school and they determined that it tis not an internet access issue. It has been a significant set back in the class. I have been using the program with my classes for a few years now and this is the first time I have had this many issues. Is anyone else have the same issues? Have you figured out a solution? Anything helps at this point.

We are currently having a similar issue with our classes here (6 classrooms with classes all throughout the day). About half can get on the rest are at the spiny wheel of doom. Nothing Snagging on the firewall or filters and we have the domains whitelisted as well to be sure. We have better luck in the am with getting into the web version from the chromebooks but as the day goes on fewer and fewer can get in. Wondering if there's something going on on the fusion side?

@KhendricksonDJFWU @rmalerbi Our engineering team is looking at why this could be happening to a few instances. We have a few thousand use this everyday without any issues.

How long do you wait before you know that the Fusion online is not launching?

I am having the same problem with my classes. We are either stuck on the Launch webpage and it doesn't jump to the loading screen and after 3 or 4 minutes get the 504 screen, or we wait through the loading screen and nothing happens when it reaches 100% or we eventually get the Failed to Load webpage. We have been having this issue all week, these classes run in the afternoon, 1:00-3:00 central time. One persistent student was able to get in after 30 minutes of trying right before the bell rang. I used Fusion all last year with nowhere near this many loading issues.

Hey there - We sit on the loading page for about 8-10mins after hitting launch and it times out. Or it'll load and then get stuck at 100% for a while before timing out.

Its usually around 15 minutes. At that point we know it is not going to
load.

Have there been any updates as to why this is happening? @KhendricksonDJFWU and I work for the same district and have teachers looking for resolution. We've gone through the Ports/Sites and have everything configured. Nothing is being blocked by the Firewall or our filtering program. It has been 10 minutes into this new period and no students are able to login. (11:30AM PST)

@SSCOTTNSC4R Amazon AWS has acknowledged that they see why this issue is. WE are working with them as the highest priority to address the issue. We will post back here as soon as this problem is resolved.

I am having the same issues also with Chromebooks with only 4 students and myself.  We have even tried to go through Amazon Web Service and it take forever to load and when it does, it is extremely slow.  For the entire week we were able to produce ONE rectangle in sketch.  Frustrating.

Still can't get a whole class of students logged in to get anything done in a class period.

It can be up to 15 minutes. In the past few days my students managed to use the web browser with minimal wait times (about 10 minutes) but now they seem to be getting kicked off after 30 minutes of use.

That is incredibly frustrating especially since the program is very useful and a lot of fun once the students experience the power of designing and 3D printing. I fear they are loosing their steam and the frustration is eating at their desire to learn. In one of my classes we have gone back to paper and pencil and I don't think the students will want to go back to Fusion.

@rmalerbi Our sincere apologies for this experience. We are actively working with AWS and they are treating this as highest priority as well. I am hoping we will get some better news from them soon.

Is there an ETA on fixing this with AWS? I am going to have to abandon Fusion if this is still an issue next week. Is there any guess on what is different this school year compared to last school year? I spent last year making curriculum for Fusion but next week is the 6th week of school and I can't keep stalling and testing it with the class if there's no hope of fixing this in the next week or so.

I have moved on to Onshape for my students on Chromebooks. Very similar to

No ETA, I have been told a few times now that the issue has been moved to the "highest priority", whatever that means. I just need the issue fixed. My students are loosing interest and most don't want to use Fusion any more. I have the same issue with designing my curriculum around Fusion. We have been using Fusion for a few years now with no issues, last year I took a class on using Fusion in my classes which inspired me to change my curriculum, but It looks like I changed it for a program that doesn't work. I will have to try out OnShape.
