Hi, I am having trouble opening the Fusion 360 insert fasteners tool. When I open it, I get this error:
Something went wrong.
The library is taking a long time to start, which may indicate a problem. Try reloading the page.
Thanks

Hi champsheard,

we are very sorry that you have an access issue to Insert Fastener command. It looks that it was a temporarry issue. Could you try to start Insert Fastener command again, please ?

Best regards

With the September 2024 update, the insert fastener tool is now working.

Hi info6VKF,

we are very sorry that you have this access issue to the Insert Fasteners command.
I'm on the same latest build and it seems to be Resolved - probably some temporary outage of some services.

Could you try it again, please ?

Hi @info6VKF,

I'm 99% sure you are online but that's my first ask, is Fusion definitely online. the insert Fastener Icon Should not be available in offline but its worth a check for the 2 seconds it takes.

Next one are you able to try this on another network?
I have seen similar things happen where there are domain restrictions on a network.

Hi  info6VKF,

it looks that your installation is somehow corrupoted in other words , we can reproduce on our side a similar issue if file index.html or whole folder

%LOCALAPPDATA%/Autodesk/webdeploy/production/bce2902bbfcb27678033cbb9e17a3529631b97a7/LibraryClientPlatform

doesn't exists.

Please, could you verify if the folder above and index.html inside this folder exists ? If not, we suggest to do a Reinstallation or Repair Fusion by Fusion Service Utility.

Please let us know if this fixed you issue.

Best regards

 Roman
