Rectangular Pattern Bug

When creating a rectangular pattern that includes the chamfer feature in the timeline, the Z axis is selected as one of the options no matter which axis is selected. It doesn't allow me to have a rectangular pattern in the X and Y directions, only X and Z or Y and Z.

After messing with the feature selections, if I remove the chamfer as a selection, it works correctly.

I have 2 extrudes in the Z axis and 1 chamfer I'm trying to replicate.

After trying a few times, I was able to get it to work once and saved it but picking the axis again was still causing the Z axis to be selected.

When the chamfer is selected, it gives extra faces even when it was correctly using the X and Y axis.

This is in version Fusion 2.0.19966 x86_64

Here's the file. I've made changes and saved since this version but this is where I was at with the problems.

Yep, I've seen this before.

No matter which axis one selects, Fusion does not offer a 2nd axis in the XY plane.

Thanks for reporting! @Phil.E can you check this out?

Pattern the faces, not the features.

I'll send this over to the pattern development team. Thanks!

Here are the steps for your design. Edit the pattern and do this:

No problem glad to help. I think you might find in time that patterning faces, when the faces are all discrete like this, is just another workflow. If I can select the faces like this, I don't even think about patterning features. Usually I only pattern stand alone features, like a hole operation. In any case, the feature pattern should be more reliable than what you discovered, the dev team will look into it.
