You might need to go to the security settings and see if there are any errors or prompts in there.

Its similar to this article

Afraid those solutions did not work for me.

There was no Fusion360 process running in Activity Monitor.

A restart of the system did not solve the problem.

There is no firewall running.

There is no Anti-Virus Software running.

Please advise if possible. Thank you.

Is this a shared computer? If so did the other use previously install Fusion 360?

It is a shared computer but no other user has installed Fusion 360.

There is no Fusion 360 app in Applications.

You mean under here?

"/Users/Home/Applications/Autodesk Fusion 360.app"

Can you look into this directory /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/webdeploy/production and see if there is a Fusion app and if it launches?

There is an alias but when I click it...

"The application "Autodesk Fusion 360" can't be opened"

In a subfolder (with many letters and numbers) there's a 2.38 GB App called "Autodesk Fusion 360" but I get the same error when I click on that as well.

Cheers.

The only things i can think of are to try creating a new Apple admin user profile, or test a lab install.

Another thought - if you run the cleanup tool, make sure the directory mentioned is actually emptied. Otherwise its not fully cleaning up- which is highly possible. But its really stating it doesn't have permission to clear that link or it already exists and cannot be removed.

OK. I checked it and it looked empty. I deleted the Autodesk folder to be sure, but no joy.

Am I to understand that the Error 1 code I'm getting is in relationship to Alias or to the Program? I've been trying to look at the log to see what it's trying to do and failing.

thanks

Hi @Anonymous

Could you open a terminal, run "ls -la /Users/Home/Applications" and post its output?

And thanks for sharing the logs!

Regards

Thanks. We can't reproduce the issue but it's definitely a bug and we'll look into this.

Could we contact with you directly for helping us with deeper investigation of the issue?

Since no one got back to me...I decided to try it again and it had the same problem, but this time...I did find the Fusion app in the Library folder and it launched. What should I do next.?
