Hello, i am having similar issues to other members in here, however have not been able to fix it.
I am using fusions personal edition and am thus limited to 10 editable files. This wouldnt be a big issue if i had more than that, but while trying and failing to save my document yesterday night, i am today left with 8 files which are saying that they are still uploading. (unable to open or click)

files were created when trying to save a document which kept erroring due to locally linked files (which werent local? and have not presented issues in the 75 revisions before this..)

I have thus far tried the following without success:

Job Status

tried clearing the job status, job status list is empty

Updating Fusion

ive updated fusion to the latest version

Offline Mode

entering offline mode and or restarting did not solve the issue

Clear Cache Data

tried clearing the cache data both online and offline

Checking for the files online in web

tried checking to see if the files are present online (and maybe deleting them there)
files arent anywhere but on my local machine.

following: https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?caas=caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/File-stuck-in-uplo...

  • Text Command to remove the upload que

command ran successfully removing 0 from the que.

  • Manually clearing the upload que

following the guide deleting/moving files still left with the same que.

I have also tried this without success
-Launch Fusion
-Go Offline (manual switch)
-Close Fusion
-Rename the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments file
For me there is no "Options" folder
-Launch Fusion
-Editable Document list should be empty

EDIT (it was in appdata not local, i found it):

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments

renamed to _backup092024 for now, opening fusion 0/10 editable documents, documents are gone.
entering online mode again, they returned.

theres probably more that i tried however i may have forgotten by now.

attatched are the logs.

1. Are you having the document still uploading issue as this original topic calls out?
2. When you crash, do you get a chance to send in the crash error report to Autodesk? is there a report ID you can post here so that I can find these crashes from you in our backend?
3. Will it be possible for you to share this design? It's quite possible that it has grown too big in the number of bodies as you called out and we can see if there is a way to optimize.

So after trying the steps listed and searching to find the correct folder I was able to get the endless upload to stop. Of the many crashes I was only able to send a report 2 times. I could share it i guess. How?

@topshagy @Glad the upload issue is addressed for you.

As to sharing the design you can right click on the design in the data panel and there will be a share design feature that will walk you through it.

Regarding the crashes, when it does not show you the crash to send to Autodesk, does it simply exit the application?

Ok. I'll try to share it when I go back in the office.

Most of my crashes lately have been only the graphics interface will crash and give me a white screen . I manually exit then. But it's still uploading and makes me wait to close.

1. The graphics crash just make sure see if you have any windows pending updates and also you can try a reinstall of the graphics drivers

2. As to Fusion asking you to wait for upload to complete, can you grab a screen shot of it?

I will see what I can do, pc is kinda new still. Built it about a year ago. Haven't used much till the last few months. I'm sure my system isn't optimized yet. I'll look into reinstalling my drivers if it keeps happening.  I removed a few hundred unused bodies tonight.  I'm optimistic but it may have helped enough for me to proceed.  Though I didn't do much more than the removal process it didn't crash or lag much. Graphics stayed solid as well.

If it crashes the same way and askes me to wait I'll screenshot it for you.

Thank you for the help BTW.

I am have the exact same problem as OP but how do I mark a single document editable if there are none? Or where do I find them? Every other step is no issue but doesn't fix the issue sadly.

@tryant1990 You will have to go out of the my editable document filter.
