Hello Sujay, 

My particular interest in 3D modelling as opposed to 2d Autocad is the scope to be able to produce what's in my head into a 3 D model, and my no. 1 love of 3 D programs like fusion is similar to the artist with his/her eazel, brushes, paints, ie being able to put your ideas into 3 D space anytime any where, and continue to produce and make in life.

  1. Insert the Canvas:
    • Go to the Insert menu and select Canvas.
    • Choose your image file (a sketch or photo) from your computer.
  1. Position the Canvas:
    • Select the face of your model where you want the canvas to appear.
    • Adjust its position, scale, and orientation to match your needs.
  1. Calibrate the Canvas:
    • Right-click the canvas and select the Calibrate option.
    • Click two points on the image and enter the actual distance between them to scale the entire image accurately.
  1. Sketch on the Canvas:
    • Select the canvas and choose to create a new sketch on it.
    • Use tools like the Sketch or Spline tool to draw over the image, tracing the outlines of your idea.
  1. Create 3D Models:
    • Once your sketch is complete, use the sketch to create a 3D object.
    • For example, the Extrude command takes the 2D sketch outline and gives it depth to create a 3D body.
  1. Refine the Model:

I aim to effectively produce many 3 D models from tracing around inserted photos using poly line feature.... Circular objects and using revolve feature seems the easiest way to create 3 D models at the moment... More to come I expect... Blessings
