Preview Roughing passes by layer

Hi all,

Fairly new user here, coming from RhinoCam. One feature in that program that I LOVED and cannot find here is the ability to inspect toolpaths as individual Z layers. When I created a roughing operation, I could look at each layer in isolation (no other toolpath lines above it or below it). It was very clear what I was going to get, because each layer was also listed with its Z height.By contrast, in Fusion, when the toolpath is displayed, all the layers are stacked up, and I can't see through them to read just one layer. From a side view, I can see each layer, but can't read what pattern the tool will actually follow. My only option seems to be to wait for the animated simulation to get to the level I want to see, and watch what it does. This can be very time consuming.

Anyone know of a way to see just one layer of a clearing toolpath in isolation?

A layer type view as you refer to is not possible in Fusion. I don't think I recall this being requested before 🤔

Correction; you CAN do that (totally forgot about this) when you right click on a toolpath and select "Show Toolpath Data".

FYI you can also click on a line while doing Show Toolpath Data to skip to that x/y point in the popup window. 

Use page-down to quickly scroll through as well if you're using an adaptive or 3D toolpath.
