How to use the side of an endmill to cut sideways though an oval hole/slot

I have tried to find something online but I couldn't find anything more specific about how to have an endmill plunge/step down into a part and cut across/sideways though the oval hole/slot and have it repeat the prosses until it reaches the bottom. i thought it was an adaptive cycle or a drill cycle but I didn't have any luck with that.

Would you be able to share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply.

Are you looking to ramp down the entire profile, or just cut on centerline back and forth until reaching final depth?

@derek_secord12

You can use a 2D Contour toolpath with the Ramp box checked and angle defined in the Linking Tab to ramp down along the profile or use the Slot toolpath to machine depth passes on the centerline of the slot geometry.
