4th Axis cut off stock hassle

Hi,

i machine a part on my 4th axis and when it's finish i want to cut off the the part from stock.

But i am found no way to do that. I tried 2d contour, flow, swarf and all im beta mode too.

The most promising operation was 2d contour with wrapping mode. But it seems it is not possible to select a circle to wrap. It is always red and dashed.

Here is an example for the cut off position.

What can i do to get this done? Have i failed to see anything?

Hi @Marco.Takx,

First, thank you for the quick reply and your work Smiley Very Happy

If i see it right, you have created a pocket and machine these. That could be a solution for now.

I am curios about to see if there other workflows out there to get this done.

Hi @macmanpb,

Couldn't let it to try more things.

I've now an open loop 2D Contour operation based on a split surface that I give some extension on the end.
