Hi all,
Having a problem where using trace to machine letters on a single line font does not work for me. It basically does not engrave all the letters. see attached images for clarity.
Any help appreciated!
David
Hi @DavidTunnard,
Is it possible to share your model so we can take a closer look at it?

Hi @DavidTunnard,
Are you on a Mac or Windows PC?
I uploaded the model regenerate the toolpath and tested it without any problem!
Test My file to see your result.

Hmm.. How strange.
I am on windows. I'm hoping you're on mac or it means the problem is with me!
Hi @DavidTunnard,
I'm on a Windows machine.
Did you test my model?
DO you have the same issue.
Maybe it's a Graphic Card issue.
When you post your operation and check it in NCViewer
How does it look?

Yes, I had a look an it seemed to be workable. However when deselected and then re selected the text I had the same problem as with my file. Fusion is on the latest update if that's what you mean by latest issue.
I'm not too sure if it's a graphics issue as if you look at your machining time opposed to mine, yours takes 12secs and min 6secs. That to me shows that is is missing part of the machining out.
Ah! I think I have found the issue..
I think I was trying to use some supposedly single line fonts that i installed before autodesk put their versions in. I have just changed to using an autodesk font and it appears to work fine!
I'm assuming you did not have the fonts I did so fusion just automatically swapped it for a standard font which worked on yours.

Hi @DavidTunnard,
I've not checked that but it can be totally true.
Glad you found the problem.
