Change default setup sheet configuration to my custom config?

Is it possible to set a custom setup sheet configuration as the default?  I created a custom setup sheet configuration.  I'd like that to be my default setup sheet configuration, so that I do not scroll to the bottom past the several predefined configurations to select my custom configuration.

Just wondering if it is possible to set a custom setup sheet configuration as the default? If so, would someone please  point me in the right direction? Thanks!

We have three versions of Setup Sheets (unfortunately). Which one are you referring to, and could you toss up a couple images so we can better understand? (a screen recording would be superb)

Sorry for the delayed response @seth.madore. Attached is a screen recording of what I am referring to.

Thanks!

@gautham.kattethota any chance you can add this default setup sheet configuration idea to the backlog as well?
(See my screen recording above)

This may be possible, let me chat with some folks that might know. If at all possible, it's likely going to require editing an .XML file, which is something you'd have to do each update.

(oh, and "Configurations" from the Design environment are totally different from Setup Sheet Configurations as well as totally different development teams associated with those areas.)

@simspacetn Related questions: How did you create your custom configuration in the first place? I am looking to do something similar but am a little confused by all the setup sheet generation options (Setup Sheet button, Right click on NC program and select setup sheet, right click on an actual setup and select setup sheet, Create a separate NC program that uses one of the setup sheet posts). Not one of these options does exactly what I want but if I could create a custom configuration I think that would be the best option!

@dkumpf, below is a quick video of how to create custom configurations.

However, this is an Insider option. You need to be a member of the Insider Program to access this feature. Membership is free, but it does involve an application process. You can apply here: https://feedback.autodesk.com/key/Fusion360Insider

First you will have to enable this feature.

  1. Open preferences.
  2. Select preview features.
  3. Scroll down to find and enable "Setup Sheet Configurations."

Here's the video showing how to create a custom setup sheet configuration.

Hello,

 Thanks for this update,

But now, question is how to define which configuration to use ?

Even if I save custom configuration, by clicking on Setup Sheet to export, only detailed  (default) is exported.

How to change to use other custom one ?

Thanks

@milan.blagojevic below is a video showing how I access my custom setup sheet configurations.
These are the step l use:

  1. Right click on a Setup in the manufacturing workspace.
  2. Create an NC program.
  3. Right click on the new NC program and choose setup sheet.
  4. Save/Publish the set up sheet, then the setup sheet will be displayed.
  5. In the configuration drop-down, I choose the custom setup sheet configuration I created.

Note that the style/design of the setup sheet created from the NC program context menu is completely different than choosing "Setup Sheet" from the setup's context menu. I personally think it's a better design.

Here's my video:

@simspacetn Thanks for the explanations! I did not realize it was a preview feature so that was my first problem.
