I put the value (1k) for a resistor here:
Where do I put the value (e.g. 0.1uF) for a capacitor?
You should also be able to right click the part and select "Value". A small dialog will pop up asking you to input the value you desire.
The dialog looks strange though. Capacitors should be named "C" not "U$1", which makes me think that you are using a capacitor out of a library that has some issues...
I have the same issue. I appreciate what you're saying @jorge_garcia , however this is one of the libraries provided with Fusion 360, so presumably we shouldn't just go around editing the parts (if we even can?). I've attached a screen cast so that you can clearly see the problem which @Anonymous and myself are experiencing.
Kind regards,
Richard.

Hi @richardHQA8V ,
I hope you're doing well. Thank you for the screencast, it confirms what I thought the issue was. The way the part is designed in the library is not the best for a passive component. I'll report this to our library team.
In the meantime when the message pops up click Yes and you will be able to change the default value. In the device editor this component was set to have it's value set to OFF which means the value becomes the name of the device and by default the user can't edit it. You can override that by clicking Yes in the dialog that pops up.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Best Regards,
Hi @rbeyerCLBSZ , @richardHQA8V , @Anonymous ,
Hope all is well.
The embedded Capacitor have been updated to allow setting value some time ago already. You could try to have a look.
Hi @ionkozokar21 , sorry to hear that you have the trouble.
The Fusion 360 latest version is 2.0.9305, could you please upgrade your Fusion to latest version and have a try again? As I know this has been updated for some time ago already, not sure why you still have the problem.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Regards,
Helen
