Hi All,
I am trying to import a part library that was saved as an Eagle scr file. I can't find out how to do it. Does anyone have any clues?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
Create a new library and type script into the command box and it will bring up a dialogue, select eagle and browse for the script. It should then run it..
There looks to be a few bugs, like when trying to add a footprint script you have to first create a temporary footprint for it to work, otherwise it throws up errors.
I think it works fine for a complete component though.
I can't find how to create a new library. The function does not seem to be available.
I am getting this error "Error updating libraries" in some different places. See the screenshot. Could that have anything to do with it?

Rob
There was an issue before the last bug fix where this occurred but I thought it had been fixed, although there is another recent post saying the same so maybe it's returned.
It looked like it was caused by being logged out but it not saying so in Fusion, logging out and back in fixed it.
Might be worth a try.
The whole program is fairly buggy so unless you really want to use it, it might be worth sticking with Eagle for the time being.
Can I still use Eagle? I will give it a try.
This Fusion 360 looks promising but is frustratingly buggy.

I have the same problem, it seems that the newest form of Eagle/Fusion does not have the same workflow to import a library from Ultra-librarian (.scr) which is incredibly frustrating. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Hi @Anonymous ,
We are in talks with Ultra-librarian to get these things fixed. In the meantime, go into the SCR file and make sure all the commands end with a semi-colon. That's the problem with the files, EAGLE tolerated this but it was incorrect. Fusion360 will not tolerate this and that's where the issue lies.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Best Regards,
There is no way in the current version of Fusion360 to create a new library therefore no dialog to enter the script to import the scr. There must be a way to run the script!
Hi @dheco ,
I hope you're doing well. In Fusion 360 you can make a new library, by clicking File > New Electronics library. In any of the editors type Script and press enter in the CLI. Then you can browse to the script to import that part.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi @Anonymous , @dheco , @Anonymous , @armature81 ,
Keep you be updated that now you are able to download the library as .lbr format from ultralibrarian and open it in Fusion 360 directly now.
Please choose Autodesk > Fusion 360 PCB when you are downloading the library.
And additionally, now if you download the library script format as EAGLE 6 file, you could switch to Automate Tab in the library editor > click Run Script icon > Browser the downloaded script file to run > Then the library will be imported successfully in Fusion 360 too.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Helen
