BOM - Alternate Part Numbers

Is there a way to incorporate alternate part numbers into Fusion BOM output so they print out in the BOM?

As an example,  HarwareAssembly1 allows for item 24 in the BOM to be any of the following:

Item#, MFG_PN, MFG, DESC

24, ESDU5V0H4, JCET, Diode ESD Protection 4-Chnl +/- 25kV
24, TPD4E001DBVR, TI, Diode ESD Protection 4-Chnl +/- 15kV
24, ESDUEG5V0T4, JCET, Diode ESD Protection 4-Chnl +/- 25kV

Summary, Item 24 in the BOM could be any of the above variants.

I hope you're doing well. Ideally what you are asking for would require a relational database to easily swap those parts on the finalized BOM. I will pass your feedback along to the team investigating new BOM functionality for Fusion.

In the meantime the best you do is create additional attributes for each alternative so for example

ALT1_MPN  TPD4E001DBVR

ALT1_MAN TI

ALT1_DES Diode ESD Protection 4-Chnl +/- 15kV

On line 24 of the BOM you would have all of the attributes listed. It's not as clean I agree, but all of the info will be there and the contract manufacturer would have everything they need.
