Why am I getting a sketch error after editing the joint limits to 0?

I am not sure why it is throwing up a sketching error. Potentially it is referencing the joint limits in the background in a sketch and because both are overlapping it doesn’t know how to have a dimension that has length zero? I am not sure honestly. However, my question is why you want a joint limit of zero? This would mean that the slider joint cannot slide and is effectively just a rigid joint, so could you not set the motion type to be rigid and not have to use joint limits in this instance at all?

Actually I was practising Fusion 360 and just tried to do some random things and then i came across this error.

Ah ok fair enough! Thanks for letting us know! It is very curious as to why it is the sketch that received the error, not the joint!

Excellent question. The centerpoints of the slot in the sketch (center to center distance) are driven by the distance of the Joint Limits. This was done by creating two axises and projecting each axis on to the sketch. When you change the Joint Limit minimum distance to zero, the slot cannot be computed. As you can see in the screen capture, the when I changed the Joint Limit Minimum distance to -5, the center to center distance of the slot also changed to -5.
