Can you tell us more about why you need to determine the Tangent Plane while creating Manual Contacts?

Hi @101210303 

I connected with our Simulation team and they also asked for the .f3d file. The team gave me the attached image that may help. Also stated "For spur gears (probably similar for helical ones), the contact force is always directed in the same direction, regardless of how many teeth are in contact."
